We introduce guests to villages and artisans only after we secure consent and fair payment. Visits happen on your schedule and with a local host present.
We set clear behavior standards before any visit: respectful dress, quiet photography rules, and guidance on gift giving.

Ikat and craft

We arrange private demonstrations with weavers who show warp and dye techniques. You see ikat up close: indigo shafts, hand-spun cotton, slow patterns set by hand.
Purchases go directly to the maker. We provide receipts and travel-safe packaging.

Ceremonies and timing

We respect local calendars. Ceremonies happen on specific days and often require invitation. We maintain local lines to request permission and to arrange appropriate gifts.
If a ceremony is available, we offer a discreet, hosted visit with clear guidance on conduct.
